Ctenanthe 'Opaline' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Ctenanthe 'Opaline' forms an upright clump and settles quickly indoors.

Position it in morning sun with afternoon shade and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water little and often, keeping the mix barely moist; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

It is happiest at 55% humidity or higher, potted in a chunky aroid mix. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
