Ctenanthe 'Opaline-quieta' care
Ctenanthe 'Opaline-quieta' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing a slow climber within its first year.
It does best in bright indirect light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. It prefers to be watered weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.
Keep it at occasional misting in dry rooms; pot it in a free-draining cactus-leaning mix and refresh the top layer each spring. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
