Ctenanthe 'Nocturne-opaline' care

Ctenanthe 'Nocturne-opaline' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing an upright clump within its first year.

Give it bright indirect light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water when the top third of the mix is dry; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

It is happiest at a pebble tray in heated rooms, potted in rich, moisture-retentive mix. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
