Ctenanthe 'Minima-viridis' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Ctenanthe 'Minima-viridis' forms an upright clump and settles quickly indoors.

Position it in bright indirect light and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water when the leaves just begin to soften. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

Aim for average room humidity and use standard mix cut with a third perlite — roots here want air as much as water. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
