Ctenanthe 'Minima-stellata' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Ctenanthe 'Minima-stellata' forms a slow climber and settles quickly indoors.

Give it bright indirect light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water sparingly, letting the pot dry almost through. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

Aim for a humid corner or grouped planting and use coco coir with added bark — roots here want air as much as water. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
