Collectors know Ctenanthe 'Lucida-viridis' for its steady pace; it keeps a trailing habit even in imperfect corners.

It does best in low to medium light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. It prefers to be watered when the top third of the mix is dry, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

Aim for average room humidity and use standard mix cut with a third perlite — roots here want air as much as water. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
