Ctenanthe 'Brevifolia-perlata' care
Among the quieter members of the genus, Ctenanthe 'Brevifolia-perlata' forms a slow climber and settles quickly indoors.
Position it in morning sun with afternoon shade and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water when the leaves just begin to soften. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.
Aim for a humid corner or grouped planting and use coco coir with added bark — roots here want air as much as water. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
