Ctenanthe 'Borealis-ember' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Ctenanthe 'Borealis-ember' forms an upright clump and settles quickly indoors.

Position it in bright light with no direct midday sun and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water sparingly, letting the pot dry almost through. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

It is happiest at a pebble tray in heated rooms, potted in a free-draining cactus-leaning mix. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
