Ctenanthe 'Aurora-viridis' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing a trailing habit within its first year.

It does best in bright indirect light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. It prefers to be watered when the top third of the mix is dry, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.
