Ctenanthe 'Aurora-perlata' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Ctenanthe 'Aurora-perlata' forms a compact rosette and settles quickly indoors.

It does best in low to medium light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. It prefers to be watered when the leaves just begin to soften, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

It is happiest at 55% humidity or higher, potted in standard mix cut with a third perlite. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
