Syngonium 'Opaline-vireo' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Syngonium 'Opaline-vireo' forms a compact rosette and settles quickly indoors.

Position it in low to medium light and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. It prefers to be watered weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

Keep it at a humid corner or grouped planting; pot it in a free-draining cactus-leaning mix and refresh the top layer each spring. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
