Syngonium 'Nocturne-stellata' care

Collectors know Syngonium 'Nocturne-stellata' for its steady pace; it keeps a vining spreader even in imperfect corners.

It does best in bright indirect light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. It prefers to be watered little and often, keeping the mix barely moist, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

Keep it at average room humidity; pot it in standard mix cut with a third perlite and refresh the top layer each spring. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
