Syngonium 'Minima-nocturne' rewards a patient owner: it grows as a slow climber and asks mostly to be left alone.

It does best in bright light with no direct midday sun, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. It prefers to be watered weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

Keep it at 55% humidity or higher; pot it in a free-draining cactus-leaning mix and refresh the top layer each spring. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
