Syngonium 'Ember-viridis' care

Syngonium 'Ember-viridis' rewards a patient owner: it grows as a slow climber and asks mostly to be left alone.

It does best in bright indirect light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water when the leaves just begin to soften. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

Aim for a humid corner or grouped planting and use standard mix cut with a third perlite — roots here want air as much as water. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
