Syngonium 'Brevifolia-opaline' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Syngonium 'Brevifolia-opaline' forms a slow climber and settles quickly indoors.

It does best in bright light with no direct midday sun, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. It prefers to be watered little and often, keeping the mix barely moist, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

Aim for 55% humidity or higher and use a free-draining cactus-leaning mix — roots here want air as much as water. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
