Sansevieria 'Halcyon' care

Collectors know Sansevieria 'Halcyon' for its steady pace; it keeps a slow climber even in imperfect corners.

Give it low to medium light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. It prefers to be watered when the leaves just begin to soften, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

Keep it at average room humidity; pot it in a free-draining cactus-leaning mix and refresh the top layer each spring. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
