Sansevieria 'Ember-vireo' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Sansevieria 'Ember-vireo' forms an upright clump and settles quickly indoors.

Give it bright light with no direct midday sun; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water sparingly, letting the pot dry almost through. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

Aim for occasional misting in dry rooms and use standard mix cut with a third perlite — roots here want air as much as water. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
