Sansevieria 'Aurora-ember' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing a trailing habit within its first year.

It does best in low to medium light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. It prefers to be watered little and often, keeping the mix barely moist, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

Keep it at 55% humidity or higher; pot it in a chunky aroid mix and refresh the top layer each spring. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
