Monstera 'Tessera' care

Monstera 'Tessera' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing a slow climber within its first year.

Position it in morning sun with afternoon shade and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water little and often, keeping the mix barely moist; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Keep it at occasional misting in dry rooms; pot it in standard mix cut with a third perlite and refresh the top layer each spring. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
