Monstera 'Seraphine-velutina' care
Monstera 'Seraphine-velutina' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing a compact rosette within its first year.
It does best in bright indirect light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. It prefers to be watered weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.
Aim for a pebble tray in heated rooms and use standard mix cut with a third perlite — roots here want air as much as water. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
