Monstera 'Opaline-silvergleam' care

Monstera 'Opaline-silvergleam' rewards a patient owner: it grows as a slow climber and asks mostly to be left alone.

Give it low to medium light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water when the top third of the mix is dry; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Aim for a humid corner or grouped planting and use a chunky aroid mix — roots here want air as much as water. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
