Monstera 'Nocturne-tessera' care

Monstera 'Nocturne-tessera' rewards a patient owner: it grows as a compact rosette and asks mostly to be left alone.

It does best in bright light with no direct midday sun, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water when the top third of the mix is dry; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Keep it at a humid corner or grouped planting; pot it in coco coir with added bark and refresh the top layer each spring. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
