Monstera 'Argentea' care

Monstera 'Argentea' rewards a patient owner: it grows as an upright clump and asks mostly to be left alone.

It does best in bright light with no direct midday sun, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water when the top third of the mix is dry; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Aim for a humid corner or grouped planting and use coco coir with added bark — roots here want air as much as water. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
