Hoya 'Tessera' care

Hoya 'Tessera' rewards a patient owner: it grows as a trailing habit and asks mostly to be left alone.

Position it in morning sun with afternoon shade and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water little and often, keeping the mix barely moist; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Keep it at a humid corner or grouped planting; pot it in rich, moisture-retentive mix and refresh the top layer each spring. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
