Dracaena 'Stellata' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Dracaena 'Stellata' forms a vining spreader and settles quickly indoors.

Give it morning sun with afternoon shade; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. It prefers to be watered weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

Keep it at average room humidity; pot it in a chunky aroid mix and refresh the top layer each spring. It is mildly irritating to pets if chewed, so shelve it accordingly.
