Dracaena 'Lucida' care

Dracaena 'Lucida' rewards a patient owner: it grows as a slow climber and asks mostly to be left alone.

It does best in low to medium light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water sparingly, letting the pot dry almost through; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

It is happiest at a pebble tray in heated rooms, potted in a free-draining cactus-leaning mix. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
