Dracaena 'Lucida-silvergleam' care

Dracaena 'Lucida-silvergleam' rewards a patient owner: it grows as a trailing habit and asks mostly to be left alone.

It does best in bright light with no direct midday sun, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water when the leaves just begin to soften; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Aim for a humid corner or grouped planting and use standard mix cut with a third perlite — roots here want air as much as water. It is mildly irritating to pets if chewed, so shelve it accordingly.
