Anthurium 'Tessera-vireo' care

Anthurium 'Tessera-vireo' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing an upright clump within its first year.

Give it bright light with no direct midday sun; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water little and often, keeping the mix barely moist; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Keep it at average room humidity; pot it in a chunky aroid mix and refresh the top layer each spring. It is mildly irritating to pets if chewed, so shelve it accordingly.
