Anthurium 'Perlata-silvergleam' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Anthurium 'Perlata-silvergleam' forms an upright clump and settles quickly indoors.

It does best in morning sun with afternoon shade, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Keep it at occasional misting in dry rooms; pot it in a chunky aroid mix and refresh the top layer each spring. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
