Anthurium 'Duskwell-halcyon' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Anthurium 'Duskwell-halcyon' forms a compact rosette and settles quickly indoors.

It does best in morning sun with afternoon shade, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. It prefers to be watered when the leaves just begin to soften, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

Keep it at average room humidity; pot it in standard mix cut with a third perlite and refresh the top layer each spring. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
