Anthurium 'Brevifolia-cascadia' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Anthurium 'Brevifolia-cascadia' forms a vining spreader and settles quickly indoors.

Give it medium filtered light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. It prefers to be watered when the top third of the mix is dry, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

It is happiest at occasional misting in dry rooms, potted in a chunky aroid mix. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
